We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where Your Data is Stored

Your focus sessions, preferences, statistics, and streaks are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Subscription and purchase data is processed by the Apple App Store and RevenueCat, which may store data in the EU and/or the United States. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf and is GDPR-compliant. See their privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

Right to Access

Right to Rectification

If your information is incorrect, you can update it in the app settings or contact us.

Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. This is permanent and cannot be undone.

Right to Data Portability

You can export your data in a standard format (JSON) to take to another service.

Right to Object

You can object to processing of your data. Since we don't use data for marketing, this mainly applies to usage analytics (which you can disable in settings).

Right to Restrict Processing

You can ask us to limit how we process your data while we address your concerns.

Ember is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

International Transfers

Your focus session data stays on your device and is never transferred externally. Subscription data processed by RevenueCat may be stored in the United States under GDPR-compliant safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). Apple processes purchase data according to their own privacy policy.
